Hotpod Yoga is an innovative yoga studio business that has grown from it’s start in January 2013 to an impressive 27 locations in 7 countries, offering around 2500 classes per month and having served nearly 60,000 customers! It’s a franchise model with a compelling offering for yoga teachers, allowing them to step into studio ownership with a helping hand. We though it would be interesting to speak to two of their franchisees to get the inside track on what their experience has really been like.

First up is Sarah Harrison who runs Hotpod Yoga Nottinghamshire. After a 15 year corporate career she was exploring options to start her own business and being a yoga teacher, Sarah explored opening her own studio. Through a friend she found Hotpod Yoga and hasn’t looked back, having just opened her third “pod” studio after 2 years.  In the 20 minute chat below she spoke to us about her experiences as a franchisee.

Our second chat was with Ana Chidzoy who runs Hotpod Yoga South Wales. Originally a fitness and dance instructor, she started teaching yoga in 2012. Her love of the ancient science grew rapidly which started her search for ways to help her students feel what she felt. Whilst exploring opportunities to open her own studio, Ana stumbled across Hotpod Yoga and became their first franchisee in late 2013. Just over 3 years on she is also on her third “pod” and outlined her experiences in the 20 minute chat below.
